A Speech of Mr. Wu Junlin at the Forum for Asia-Pacific Economic Leaders——“Opinions on the Development of Tourism Industry under ‘the Belt and Road Initiatives’ Strategic Framework”
Today, Mr Wu Junlin----chairman of World Hotel Association, vice-chairman of Fédération Internationale du Toursime and chairman of its Greater China Region----was invited by the Asia-Pacific Economic Leaders United Association to make an address named “Opinions on the Development of Tourism Industry under ‘the Belt and Road Initiatives’ Strategic Framework” on the main seminar of the “Summit Forum(Haikou) for Asia-Pacific Economic Leaders”.
Mr. Wu mainly explained and analyzed four points: 1.The strategic significance of “the Belt and Road Initiatives”at the national level; 2.The importance of China’s economic development in the world; 3.China’s Tourism industry is the “catalyst” and “actuator” of the development of “the Belt and Road Initiatives” strategy; 4.Consideration and suggestions for relevant problems of China’s tourism development.
There were more than 300 guests and representatives covering important politicians, financiers, investors, entrepreneurs and socialites from over 20 countries and regions taking part in the summit forum at Haikou, which included: Mr. Ong Tee keat, Malaysia’s former Minister of Transport; Mr. Huang Jiannan, former vice-minister of US Department of Commerce; Mr. Sun Shiwen, deputy mayor of Haikou city; Lawrence Yu, chairman of Asia-Pacific Economic leaders United Association; Mr. Wang Mingang, deputy to the National Prople’s Congress and chairman of Gangyi Group; Lawrence Pan, former chairman of NASDAQ’s China region and president of its Asian area; Mr. He Huijun, chairman of China-US Investment Expo; Mr. Gao Tianci, a lawmaker of Macao Special Administrative Region; Mr Jin Jian, Chinese partner of Deloitte & Touche; Mr. Chen Heping, executive vice president of Amer International Group, one of the Fortune Global 500 companies; Mrs. Qiu Bo, chairman of Zhigao Group, one of the Chinese top 500 companies, etc.
