Interview With David Loiseau, Vice President Sales & Marketing of Jumeirah Asia Pacific

The world’s top luxurious hotels & resorts brand Jumeirah’s planning the opening of its first hotel in Asia pacific region. New hotel’s located in Xin Tian Di-the city’s living room on Shanghai & one of the most popular landmarks of fashion in Asia. Jumeirah’s new hotel in Shanghai will be a significant tribute that representing the most classical Chinese culture of Tang Dynasty, in which period China was on the top prosperity. Is China really prepared to accept the luxurious hotel? Mr. David Loiseau, vice president sales & marketing of Jumeirah Asia & Pacific give the perfect interpretation of Jumeirah’s core spirit & its China strategies.
David Loiseau, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Asia Pacific Region for Jumeirah, has been in the hotel industry for almost 15 years. He began his career with Mariott Hotels International, working in properties in Monte Carlo, Thailand and South Korea. In 2003, David became the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Singapore and successfully handled a challenging period involving extensive renovations and even the closure of the hotel.David joined the Jumeirah Group in 2005 as Director of Business Development for Madinat Jumeirah - The Arabian Resort in Dubai (UAE). Since 2007, as Vice President Sales & Marketing of the Asia Pacific Region, David has been based in Jumeirah's regional office in Shanghai (China), paving the way for Jumeirah's entry into the Asian market. One of his key responsibilities is to support and facilitate the pre-opening of Jumeirah HanTang Xintiandi, Jumeirah's first hotel in China and flagship property in the Asia Pacific region, set to open in August 2008. David holds a degree in hotel management from the école h telière de Nice (France).
